Huang Zhong, which his bag slung over his shoulder, sauntered through the corridors of Han High. He stopped at railing with a clear view, shoved his bag on the floor and rested his arms on the railing, watching the scene absent-mindedly. It had been ten freaking years since he last saw her, Ma Yun Lu. She was a cheerful girl and frequently nosed her way into Zhong and Chao’s own little games. She the treasured daughter of Ma Teng, Chao was a little jealous, but he never admitted it.
“It’s been ten years since I last saw you, hasn’t it?”
Zhong shrieked at the sudden intrusion beside him. “Hey, don’t just pop out of nowhere like that!”
“Do I scare you that badly?” asked Yun Lu, a wide grin on her face.
It seriously reminded Huang Zhong of old times.
“Uh…no, of course not,” Zhong replied suspiciously. “Where are you staying?”
Yun Lu shrugged and sipped a can of coke.
“What? When did you arrive here?”
“Today. I enrolled myself online. Internet these days is like…” Yun Lu clicked her fingers. “This efficient.”
“So you haven’t decided where you’re staying?”
“I figured Ma Chao would let me stay at his place…”
“We’re all living at Cao Cao’s mansion.”
Yun Lu looked surprised. “Cao Cao?”
“Yeah, he’s a rich guy, and the Captain of this school. He let us live at his place. Oh yeah, didn’t tell you. Guan Yu, Fei, Yun, Chao and I are the ‘Five Tiger Generals’. We’re all aligned to protect this school,” explained Zhong.
“Five Tiger Generals? Heh, amusing—”
Yun Lu stopped when Cao Cao sidled up beside them both.
“Wow, who are you?” asked Yun Lu.
“Oh yeah, don’t randomly say Cao Cao, or he’ll appear. It’s like he knows teleportation,” said Zhong with a laugh.
“Hello, you must be Ma Chao’s sister, Yun Lu.” Cao Cao held out his hand. “I’m Cao Cao.”
Yun Lu shook his hand and nodded. “Nice to meet you.”
“So, do you want to live at my place with your brother? I always have spare rooms.”
“Like a hotel.”
“Wait, it’ll just be me, and a bunch of guys?” asked Yun Lu.
“No, you know Ah Xiang,” asked Zhong, and Yun Lu replied with a nod. “She stays with us too.”
“I think she’d be glad to have a female companion,” answered Cao Cao.
“It kind of gets awkward for her in the house….you know, being the only girl….” muttered Zhong.
“So…about the offer…” started Cao Cao.
Yun Lu nodded with a smile. “I accept. Thank you for letting me stay, really appreciate it.”
Cao Cao nodded. “Well, your brother can take you there after school. See you later.” He walked off.
“How rich is this guy?” whispered Yun Lu.
“I don’t know. But there’s seven people living at his place for free. And apparently he has estates all over the place,” replied Huang Zhong. “He’s filthy rich.”

“Hey there Yun Lu, I’m Diao Chan, this is my best friend Xiao Qiao. So you’re Ma Chao’s sister?” asked Diao Chan as she packed up her stuff along with Xiao.
“Yup, that dork is my brother. We’re twins, but he was born first,” said Yun Lu. Before Diao Chan could get another word in, Ma Chao grabbed Yun Lu’s arm and turned her around.
“Why are you here?” he asked, his face very serious.
“I finished high school in Rome.”
“Serious?”
“Yep, I’m just that much smarter than you.”
“Damn. Did you tell mum?”
“Yep.”
“Did you tell dad?”
“Yep.”
“Did you tell grandpa?”
“Yep.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Coz you suck.”
“I’m your brother for heaven’s sake!”
“Is that supposed to mean anything?” asked Yun Lu, shaking her head as she pulled her lunch box out. “Hey, just joking. I lost your number,” added Yun Lu, seeing Ma Chao pout.
“You lost my number! How could you! Anyways, I should introduce you to my friends. This is Liu Bei, oldest one out of their brother hood,” said Ma Chao pointing to Bei, Yu and Fei. “And that’s Guan Yu, second. And Fei, who’s third.”
“Hi,” said Guan Yu simply.
“Hey,” replied Yun Lu just as simply.
“And this is Zhao Yun. He defeated our Marshmallow technique!”
“Oh you serious? That’s pretty impressive,” said Yun Lu. She too had learnt the Marshmallow techniques and every other technique Ma Chao had learnt. She looked at Zhao Yun then immediately looked away, not wanting to go through that creepy heart breaking feeling again.
“And you know Zhong. Did the girls introduce themselves to you already?” asked Ma Chao.
“Yep.”
“I haven’t yet!” said Sun Shang Xiang. “I’m Sun Shang Xiang, but you can call be Ah Xiang.”
“Hello Ah Xiang, I’m Ma Yun Lu—”
“I heard all that, Ma Chao’s sister,” answered Xiang with a smile.
Silence settled on the group.
“Um…why don’t you come with us for lunch?” suggested Diao Chan. She and Xiao Qiao pulled Yun Lu out of the classroom to the canteen area with tables. Xiang followed them out.
Liu Bei looked at Ma Chao. “You have an interesting sister.”
Ma Chao nodded slowly in reply. “She said she’d just finished high school in Rome.”
“Then why is she here? I’ve heard schools in Rome are much better than ones in China. Her high school in Rome might be even harder than our universities in China…” said Guan Yu before munching on a peanut butter sandwich. He didn’t like peanut butter, but that was the only spread available in the Cao household. Shame, you would’ve expected a rich guy like Cao Cao to have at least Nutella or something. And Guan Yu really wasn’t bothered to make a satisfactory little lunch for himself, despite being a good cook.
A shadow appeared at the door.
“Hello school friends,” interjected a voice. The man entered, his hair slicked back and his uniform all neat and tidy.
“Hey Captain,” greeted Zhang Fei with a wave.
“Anything special happen?” inquired Cao Cao.
“My sister made an appearance and is in our class,” announced Ma Chao. “Her name’s Ma Yun Lu.”
“Ah, I see. Zhong, you look dead.” Cao Cao titled his head a little, watching Huang Zhong slumped over his table.
At his name, Zhong immediately straightened. “What? No, everything’s fine.” He added a beam to strengthen his point.
“Well, my creepy sister decided to kiss him, and he stacked,” declared Chao.
“What?! No! Your sister brought up a really bad memory, I stacked, then she kissed me and ARGH! I need fresh air.” Zhong left his table, took his bag and went out.
“Ouch. He’s pissed. Wanna go talk to him, Huang Zhong’s bestie?” asked Zhao Yun, who directed the question to Ma Chao.
“Meh. As he said, he just needs fresh air.”

My Prince in Black ---KO3anguo fanfic " Pt.1
Foreword: This is merely a fanfiction, so sadly, it's not really the plot of KO3anguo D:

“Now class, we have a new student here to join us. Please welcome her!” introduced the teacher.
A girl stepped into the class room with her bag slung over her shoulder. Her hair was a dark brown colour, worn at shoulder length. The fringe was kept out of her eyes by a few black hair clips. She wore fingerless gloves, the school jacket over the uniform white shirt and brown knee high boots. Unfortunately for the boys, her skirt was not too short. She looked at the class and bowed. “Hey, I’m Ma Yun Lu. Nice to meet you. I hope you won’t eat me.”
A few guys whistled. Well, she was quite an attractive young woman, but Diao Chan was still the ultimate beauty.
“Hey, she’s hot,” whispered Zhang Fei.
“Fei…” warned Guan Yu.
It was Huang Zhong’s turn to gape now. It was her. Ma Yun Lu. She and Ma Chao were twins, but did not look very similar. Being Ma Chao’s friend since god knows when, he had also come to know Ma Yun Lu. And he had nightmares about her. She always forced him to piggyback her around the place and the strain it put on your back was hell.
“Hey Zhong, haven’t seen you in a while,” said Yun Lu as she came across his table.
“Yeah…” Zhong tugged at his collar as he needed more air. Yun Lu smirked as she watched Zhong go nervous. She leaned down and whispered into his ear, “Care to gimme a piggyback ride?”
Zhong fell over in his chair.
Yun Lu burst out laughing. “I was only kidding!”
“Right…very funny Yun Lu,” said Zhong as he righted his chair and sat in it again.
“I missed you.” Yun Lu gave him and genuine smile and leaned down to peck him on the cheek.
Huang Zhong almost stacked again. He went bright red and really badly needed fresh air.
“Woah, I think she flirts better than you, Yun,” said Zhang Fei to Zhao Yun. He smirked.
“I don’t think so…”
Yun Lu finally got to her desk and sat down. Ma Chao, seemingly oblivious to the rendezvous between her and Zhong immediately interrogated her sister, firing question after question.
“Why are you here? Aren’t you supposed to be in Rome studying? Did mum let you come back? Did you tell grandpa? Did you tell dad as well? Why didn’t you tell me? Did you know that grandpa has published another book? Are you in some sort of financial difficulty? What—”
“Hey, hey, one at a time Chao…oh maybe at lunch time,” muttered Yun Lu making an apologising gesture to the glaring teacher who was about to mark the role.
“Fine.”
“Xiahou Dun!” called the teacher.
“Here!” said the one-eyed man. His dead eye was covered by an eye patch. He reminded everyone of a pirate. They say he fell then a flight of stairs, hit a rubbish bin then rebounded onto table, rolled off the table and impaled his eye on a hockey stick. Or so the story goes.
“Gan Ning!”
No answer. He was away yet again.
“Zhao Yun!”
“Here!” replied Zhao Yun, raising a hand.
Yun Lu turned to look at Yun and their eyes locked as if they were having some type of mind clash. They stared at each other for a really long time, not blinking once. Finally, Zhao Yun looked away and Yun Lu raised her hand when her name was called. God, what the heck was that? she thought, stealing a glance at the man with short brown hair. He looked off somewhere else in wonder.
“I didn’t hear the sound of a shattering heart.”
“Haha, fail Yun, fail!” replied Fei. “I never knew you actually wanted to hear it…”
“I don’t! And now I’ve found two people whose hearts don’t break upon separating eye contact! Her and Diao Chan,” said Zhao Yun.
Meanwhile, Yun Lu decided to stop wondering about what Zhao Yun was all about. She felt her heart shatter. “What the…”
“Hah, suck!” yelled Zhang Fei. Yun Lu turned around and glared at him.
“Shut up!” she yelled pointing an accusing finger at Fei.
“Guess it’s back to one person, Diao Chan…” muttered Zhao Yun, his eyes wandering over to the said girl’s best friend, Xiao Qiao.
Xiao Qiao leaned over to Yun Lu. “What was that about?”
Yun Lu smiled. “Your face tells me you’re jealous or suspicious of something. Zhao Yun?”
Xiao Qiao blushed and looked away. “What, what are you talking about?”
“No worries, you just answered my question.”
Class started and the teacher once again gave a really simple maths test.
“So Yun Lu, I’ll give you a nice maths question since you’re new. What’s 1x3?” asked the teacher with a patronising expression.
Yun Lu stared, her mouth agape. What the heck, how easy is that? Must be some stupid trick question, she thought. She answered anyway. “…3?”
“Ah, good job!” praised the teacher. “I’ll go to English now. Liu Bei, this is your question. What is the past tense of run?”
Yun Lu started laughing. What the hell with the simplicity of the questions?
“Ran…” answered Liu Bei. He looked at Yun Lu. She was a person of the Iron Dimension, but she actually had an academic brain! Yay, he could stop feeling like a nerd.
“Why are you laughing Yun Lu?” asked the teacher.
“I was humoured by…a thought,” replied Yun Lu calmly. The teacher looked at her suspiciously but turned to someone else and asked them a question. In truth, Yun Lu had already finished high school in Rome. She had skipped some grades because of her brain was a little more developed than others.
The bell rung. The lesson ended and it was lunchtime.
